Auburn’s football team reported no positive COVID-19 tests for the second straight round of testing.

After no players or staffers tested positive for the coronavirus during the program’s pre-camp testing period on Aug. 13, the program successfully administered another round of testing on Sunday with no positive results, head coach Gus Malzahn said Saturday following the team’s first scrimmage of fall camp.

Auburn has still experienced just 34 total positive tests — 33 player positives and one coach — dating back to its original round of testing on June 4. Malzahn said he plans to provide weekly testing updates to provide transparency as the season approaches. will update this post.
