Country music superstar Vince Gill and his singer-songwriter wife Amy Grant are heading to Central Florida in December to host a drive-in Christmas benefit concert.
Gill and Grant will perform their Christmas concert on Dec. 6 in the Manheim Orlando auto auction parking lot in Ocoee, AdventHealth officials announced in a new release.
Proceeds raised from the concert will benefit the AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida for its COVID-19 research efforts.

“We are working very hard at developing a vaccine and new treatments for COVID-19,” Dr. Steven Smith said.
Smith is the chief scientific officer of the AdventHealth Research Institute, which has over 500 clinical trials in progress.
“We’re learning new things about this virus all the time and only through continued research and community support can we continue to improve treatments and work toward returning society to normal,” Smith added.
More than 400 parking spaces are available at a cost of $500 each and include a delivered holiday meal for four.
The event will be outdoor, socially distanced and all attendees must remain in their vehicles with masks on.
