Three suspects are behind bars and three more are wanted after a 24-year-old was gunned down earlier this month at an apartment complex near Stockbridge.

Officers responded to the 600 building of Spindletop Way just before 11 a.m. April 8 after receiving a call about a person shot, according to a Henry County police report.

The victim, Devante Anthony Long, was taken to the hospital, where he died of his injuries, Henry County police spokesman Capt. Randy Lee said.

Few details about the fatal shooting have been released, but investigators determined six people were involved.

Three of those suspects — Tyreek Farmer, Tobias Gresham and Antoine Gresham —have since been arrested, authorities said. All three are charged with murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. They are being held without bond at the Henry County Jail, records show.

Three others — Teshaun Hightower, Jeffrey Hightower and Kelvonie Burney — are still wanted by police.

Anyone with information about the shooting or the suspects’ whereabouts is asked to contact Henry County detectives at 770-288-8494. Those wishing to remain anonymous are encouraged to submit tips to Crime Stoppers by calling 404-577-8477, texting information to 274637 or visiting the Crime Stoppers website.
