The DuPage County Health Department on Saturday reported 160 new cases of COVID-19 in the county, with no new deaths.
The county now has seen a total of 13,659 coronavirus cases including 529 deaths, according to the health department. The recovery rate among DuPage County cases as of August 11 was 94.3%.
By town, Wheaton has had 541 total cases, Glen Ellyn 420, Lombard 666, Villa Park 408, Hinsdale 260, Westmont 493, Downers Grove 511, Warrenville 193 and Winfield 121. Addison has had 1,047 confirmed cases, Naperville 892, Carol Stream 733 and West Chicago 994.
The health department provides further information on its data dashboard for COVID-19-related hospitalizations, deaths, lab positivity and outbreak-associated counts by municipality. This additional information replaces the information that was previously provided daily in this format.
