Las Vegas Raiders activate Maxx Crosby off coronavirus list

Raiders standout defensive end Maxx Crosby was back at practice Friday morning, a week after being placed on the COVID-19 reserve list for testing positive.

Crosby, a fourth-round pick from Eastern Michigan who led the Raiders with 10 sacks, was held out of the team’s first two practices in Henderson, Nevada before being cleared Friday. He wasn’t eligible to rejoin the team until he received two negative tests for the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, two offensive stars, running back Josh Jacobs and tackle Trent Brown, remained out of practice on Friday morning, according to reports on hand. They’ve each missed the team’s first three practices, but coach Jon Gruden downplayed the significance of them missing time by saying they were on a particular practice schedule.

Check back for more on this report later in the day.
