Superstar ventriloquist and stand-up comic Jeff Dunham has again postponed his planned Oklahoma City show due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As previously reported, Dunham and his pack of puppet pals were originally slated to perform June 12 at Chesapeake Energy Arena on his “Seriously!?” tour. In May, the show was shifted to Oct. 1.
Now, the comedian has postponed the show to spring 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic, the venue has announced.
“Due to issues surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the show at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Thursday, October 1, 2020 has been postponed until Friday, April 9, 2021. Hang on to your tickets, as they will be honored on that new date,” Dunham said in a statement issued through the venue.
Refunds are available through the point of purchase. Ticketholders who have questions or purchased tickets in-person at the arena box office, are instructed to contact email@example.com.
With Dunham’s show postponed to next year, Chesapeake Arena has no events on its calendar for the remainder of 2020.
