PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department on Thursday reported one new coronavirus deaths. The county death toll now stands at 318.
The latest victim’s age was in the 80s, and the death was associated with a long-term care facility.
The county reported 61 new cases. The total number of cases in the county during the outbreak is 10,065. There have been 957 hospitalizations in the county during the outbreak.
With 1,763 cases in Westmoreland County, 1,526 in Beaver County, 994 in Washington County and 757 in Butler County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county region
to 15,105 when Allegheny County numbers are included.
According to the state Department of Health, there have been 505 deaths in the region from the virus: Three hundred and eighteen in Allegheny County, 96 in Beaver County, 49 in Westmoreland County, 24 in Washington County and 17 in Butler County. Butler County reported one new death.
